As an artist based in Los Angeles and Beirut, I’m interested in community dialogue through activist and grassroots projects. My research has lead my practice into forgotten histories of inter-ethnic communities within Little Tokyo, Los Angeles and the flows of water politics in Beirut. I’m concerned with how the site of place and community directly define ethnic identity. It is within this site of locality that the personal and political are inextricably linked.
